FontTwister generates artistic text labels and banners that you can use for different kinds of projects. The application has a straightforward interface that allows you to create amazing text effects with practically no effort. In addition to banners and labels, the application also allows creating video thumbnails to publish on YouTube.

To add effects, you should start by typing the text you want to modify. Then, you can apply modifications such as bevels, glows, embossing, transparency, texture, edges, shadows and blurs. And if you’re not very experienced at doing this, you can even use its built-in styles. In a WYSIWYG fashion, you can see the results of those actions instantly. As if all this weren’t easy enough, you can take a detailed tutorial as well.

The program allows importing several picture formats or pasting an image from the clipboard. Likewise, it supports saving pictures in its own format in case you want to modify them later. Besides, the results can be exported as both vector graphics and bitmaps.

In general, FontTwister is a program without great pretensions. However, it is very good at what it does, and most of all, it is extremely easy to use. There were a few things I didn’t like about this application. First, the results of the automatic effect generator didn’t seem very attractive to me. Also, when the source picture was big, it was difficult to view the whole image as I couldn’t adjust zooming.

My child's school web site was blocked by trend, so was my local VW garage, it even manages to block things that appear on the BBC web site. So many sited are blocked by the Trend Office scan tool that it gets in the way of using a computer. Security is a good thing but the way trend block sites by key word (or is it just random?) is just lazy on their part. Not recomended as there are other providers who do a better job.
